Casting and Rehearsals
Please check all boxes below to indicate consent. Thank you!
I received the email indicating the role that my child has been cast in. My child accepts this role and will be joining the cast of "Shrek"
I understand that rehearsals will be held weekly (starting 9/21) on Sundays from 12:00-3:00 or 4:00 PM. Rehearsals may be extended as needed as the performances approach. Some additional rehearsals may be added for some students, but we will work around your child's availability. I understand that my child is expected to attend at least 80% of all rehearsals. In the case of an unavoidable conflict, please fill out our conflict sheet as early as possible.
Mandatory technical rehearsals will be held from 1/8 through 1/16. Students may not be called every day for rehearsal, but we will ask for students to provide availability for all days so that we can plan accordingly. Generally, students will be called during afterschool hours on weekdays and during daytime hours on weekends. We will work around conflicts related to involvement with All County Chorus.
I understand that my child must be actively enrolled in at least one technique class (acting, vocal, or dance) through PYT and/or our sister program, The Dance Loft, in order to participate in this production. Students not actively enrolled will be automatically enrolled in an age-appropriate acting class.
Performance Availability
Students will appear in all shows. Students who are quadruple-cast will appear in two performances in their principal role and six performances in their ensemble role. Students who are double-cast will appear in four performances in their principal role and four performances in their ensemble role. Students who are single-cast will appear in all eight shows as their principal role. Please check the following boxes to indicate availability for our planned performance dates. ***If your child has a truly unmissable conflict with one of the performance dates (i.e. winter concert, etc.) please indicate that on our conflict sheet.*** Please note that call time for students will be 2.5 hours before their first show of the day, so please mark your calendar accordingly (times listed below are the actual show times). Our show will be roughly 60-70 minutes long with no intermission.
